Lincoln Police Department

The Lincoln Police Department provides service for the entire City of Lincoln, to include the Lincoln dispatch center being located within the same facility as the Police Department.

The Lincoln dispatch center provides assistance to those requesting medical or law enforcement assistance primarily within the city limits of Lincoln, but also receives emergency calls from within Placer County.

The Lincoln Public Library is run by the City of Lincoln. We help the residents of Lincoln and the surrounding area to learn, discover, and grow.

Lincoln Fire Department

The Lincoln Fire Department was established November 14, 1896 with the formation of Lincoln Hose Company #1. Like nearly all organized fire services of that time, it was made up of volunteers from the community. Lincoln’s volunteer fire service continued to evolve and existed as the source of fire protection to the community for many years.

Lincoln Parks and Recreation

Lincoln Parks and Recreation does more than just manage park spaces—it’s a community catalyst. The department develops and coordinates a variety of programs and events that encourage active living and cultural engagement for all ages.

From organizing sports leagues, aquatic activities, and seasonal camps to offering art and dance classes, they create opportunities that build community bonds and support healthy lifestyles. They not only maintain 24 beautiful parks and numerous trails but also serve as a hub for facility rentals, special events, and volunteer initiatives, ensuring that every resident finds a space to connect, learn, and grow.
